I'm getting quite good at the random titles, aren't I?
Although Thanksgiving actually is a holiday, I suppose.
It's the one day of the year where we get to see most of the vast Owens extended family--first cousins, second cousins, and even third cousins (not the german ones, though). Plus boyfriends/ girlfriends/ random invites of said relatives, and other hangers-on from the nearby area.
Speaking of boyfriends, I have one now.
On a totally unrelated note, for winter term I shall be interpreting some work/ s of poetry and/ or prose, then painting these interpretations, then writing short papers about how each painting interprets each work or section of a work or whatever. And we shall have lots of great fun, that is funny.
I'll have to use acrylic paint, though, since I have no experience whatsoever with watercolors and since oil painting is not only a bad idea in a small dorm room, but also against the rules since paint thinner is flammable. But I don't hate acrylic as much as I did.
So, to interpret a book, like the awesome awesome Name of the Wind (probably character illustrations), or short stories (probably creepy little Neil Gaiman goodness), or poetry (likely to be British in nature... or possibly haiku, that would be fun... )... Decisions, decisions...
Ow, my HEAD...
Should have eaten real food today...
Granola bars, pretzels, cookie dough and carrots just don't cut it...
